 Full Cafeteria Plan
A full Cafeteria Plan usually includes a Section 125 POP, Medical FSA, and Dependent Care FSA. Full Cafeteria Plans can be administered in two different ways:

  • The first would be for the employees to receive a lump sum of money to spend on their benefits and the employer provides a menu of benefit options for employees to choose from. If the employee does not use all of their allotted money towards benefit costs, whatever is leftover will be included in the employee's taxable income for the year.
  • The second way would be for the employer to make all three modules available for the employees to fund the individual accounts out of their own salary.
